I have so much to say about these two! There are many times where my first meeting with a couple is on their wedding day. It can feel a bit like a first date (we usually have many hours of email correspondence, phone calls or Zoom meetings in our pocket – but there’s nothing quite like meeting for the first time on the day-of). This can create a lot of pressure on myself to immediately bond and connect with the couple, but I am truly *ALWAYS* lucky to have people like Courtney and Jesse find me. Which all that to say is that my job was incredibly easy on this amazing day.

Their day started out with a first look in the Redbird Bar, a special place for them. With around 20 guests total, they prioritized connecting with each of them and each other throughout the night. From my own experience of witnessing these kind of wedding – I can truly say their ease and love for everyone in attendance made for the perfect kind of storytelling. I hope that shows through my work below…

Oh, and it wouldn’t be an LA wedding if there wasn’t a small earthquake right before I left. That has to be a sign of good luck – right?! Thank you Courtney and Jesse for trusting me to document your special day!
